Creative thinking and new technologies are needed to help us meet our challenges in the facilities sector, which are aimed at the resource replacement, resource maturation, and field development in deepwater and harsh environments challenges in our operations.

Processing activities are geared towards meeting the field development and heavy oil challenges in our operations. Statoil is always on the lookout for new technologies to meet our challenges in processing.

New energy/renewables

Climate change and a growing demand for clean energy are opening up new business opportunities. New renewable energy is one of the most exciting growth areas in the energy market, and Statoil is particularly focusing on offshore renewable energy.
