Statoil engages in projects with entrepreneurs and industrial companies in order to help new and emerging technologies reach the market. We have a particular focus on the development and commercialisation phases of new technology. This includes detailed product development, prototyping, testing and verification, and market planning. Our contribution to a project can include technical expertise, defining user requirements, project supervision, pilot tests, establishing networks, business/commercial advice, and financial support.
